The mixer shall have six dual mic/line inputs. The microphone inputs shall be active balanced and feature 3 pin female XLR sockets. The line inputs shall feature dual female RCA sockets. Overall bass and treble controls shall be provided with front panel access. They shall provide 12dB cut or boost at 100Hz and 9dB cut or boost at 10kHz. The master section shall include a master level control and a 7 segment output level LED meter. The master output shall be via a balanced 3 pin XLR male socket. The tape output shall be via dual female RCA sockets whilst a 1/4" headphone socket shall be provided on the front panel for monitoring purposes. The mixer shall have facilities for plug-in muting cards as well as a 4 tone generator card. The mixer shall be of high quality, suitable for both live and commercial applications. It should have ample headroom and a frequency response of no less than 50Hz - 15kHz (±3dB). Total Harmonic Distortion shall be no more than 0.08% at 1kHz. The S/N ratio shall be -78dB or better. Phantom power shall be available to all microphone inputs and shall be switchable via an internal link. Phantom power is either on or off for ALL inputs...not individually selectable. For individually selectable phantom power inputs, please refer to TX8201. The unit shall be packaged in a one rack unit rugged metal chassis suitable for desk or rack mounting.
